Deuteronomy 11:18-19 "Be Careful to Remember"

And Deuteronomy 6:6-7 (partial) says, “And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children … .

The Lord required the Jews to teach their children all about God and what He’d done for them in order not to repeat past mistakes. If the church doesn’t do the same, it will drift away from God and fall back in to past problems as well.
