John the Baptist was the forerunner of Jesus. He compared his ministry to the position of a best man in a wedding. It is a fitting example of every servant of the Lord.
This is one of the most unusual healings of Jesus contained in scripture. Sadly, this account records a man who was only "partially" healed.
